How do you change your secondary profession? And where do you do this? I'm playing Prof. as a level 18 ranger and would like to change sec.from war to mes..Thanks

My God man they sent me S. of Shiverpeaks...24 level ice golums etc didn't last long there,I hope theres another way! Looking for Droknors Forge is there an easier way there?

The long way around - go to Kryta > Maguuma Jungle > Crystal Desert > Droknar's Forge. Just do primary quests and missions.

I prefer to use Sanji's Corner in Cantha, it seems to be an easier way...

@Chiaro - he only has Prophecies

@OP - you are going the correct way. If you have the gold for it you can get a run to Sanctum Cay, which is the launch point to get to the Crystal Desert. Upon completion of that mission you will be in the Desert and will be able to do the profession quests.

Droknar's Forge can be reached with a run from Beacon's Perch. But it does not get you any closer to the Desert as it is after that point in the game. It is the first source of max stat armor in the game. Running there is a hard-to-learn skill so it's not cheap. DO NOT pay anyone prior to leaving Beacon's Perch; just show them you have the gold in the trade window.
